Even after a year of Steam early access release, the Hay Day Coins sport continues to get issues on Windows with respect to performance optimization, latency, rubberbanding and recently, cheating. The Xbox One variant was worse, with even more performance and graphical issues, especially on the base version. As such, I did not have high hopes entering the cell version but somehow it has turned out pretty great.
Concerning visuals, Hay Day Coins looks pretty great for name. The first Windows game wasn't really a looker but the mobile version retains the majority of the visual essence of that version. We only get the original Erangel map on cellular but it is fully accomplished, meaning each of the buildings, foliage, terrain, etc. in the original game is here, just worse looking.
The mobile version now has three tiers of visual quality, using a fourth much higher tier coming at some stage later. The draw distances are also much shorter so items load into perspective when they are much closer. While landing out of the Cheap Hay Day Money plane, the floor detail loads like a Google Earth map loading a slow internet connection. Still, none of this looks particularly bad in action.
Things do get poor when you flip the visual settings all of the way down. Shadows are completely eliminated, textures turn soupy, scene complexity is reduced and the overall demonstration becomes quite dull and flat. If you've played the Windows edition of this sport, this looks like a very distant relative of that. But if you've never played that before, it still seems pretty decent for https://www.mmogo.com/Hay-day/Coins.html
